The home banking service of State Bank of India (SBI) was launched in the time of the covid-19 pandemic. Seniors, disabled, certified chronically ill, visually impaired, account holders with KYC registration, single/joint account holders, and customers residing within 5km of the originating branch can request it.

For customers with disabilities, SBI is offering three free home banking services, the lender informed via tweet.

“SBI at your doorstep!!! For customers with different abilities, SBI is here to help with free “home banking” 3 times a month. Learn more,” SBI said in a tweet.

How SBI customers can take advantage of this service using the Yono app

-Open the SBI Yono app

-Go to the Service Request menu

-Select home banking service

-Place a request for check pickup, cash pickup and other requests.

How to Register for SBI Home Banking Service

State Bank of India customers should register on the toll free numbers 1800 1037 188 or 1800 1213 721 for SBI home banking services.

The following home banking services are available

SBI offers a number of services under the home banking facility. The bank offers three types of services including pickup services, delivery services, and other services.

Cash pickup.

Cash delivery.

Check withdrawal

Retrieval of the check request slip.

Pick up from 3 p.m.

Delivery of drafts.

Issuance of a Term Deposit NoticeIssuance of a Term Deposit Notice.

Recovery of life certificate.

Collection of KYC documents.

Registration made at the host branch.

Key Features of SBI Home Banking

-Requests for home banking should be made only at the main branch.

-The amount of cash withdrawal and cash deposit is limited to 20,000/-per transaction per day.

-Service charges per visit for non-financial transactions are 60/+TPS and Rs100+TPS for financial transactions.

-Withdrawal will be authorized using a check / withdrawal form with Passbook.

-Delivery will be made as far as possible but no later than the working day T+1 (excluding public holidays).
