Global Private Banker looks at what drives major financial groups, as well as their latest investment decisions and sustainability aspirations

Four experienced private bankers from Credit Suisse have joined PKB Privatbank.

Raimondo Morandi was responsible for a team of eight relationship managers at Credit Suisse and had spent 24 years with the banking giant.

Three of Morandi’s senior relationship managers joined PKB with him. Manlio Mattia Riberti, Daniele Ghirlanda and Monica Liberatore have worked at Credit Suisse for over 20 years.

The quartet started at PKB on October 1. They are all senior relationship managers working at the PKB headquarters in Lugano. The team reports to Alessandro Cavadini, Italian Market Manager.

The PKB Group manages approximately CHF 13 billion in assets. Besides Lugano, it has offices in Zurich, Geneva and Bellinzona.

The company announced in September that it had hired a private banker from UBS to focus on the Latin American market.

Last year, PKB hired another Lugano-based private banking team from Credit Suisse.
