Public bank Canara Bank on Friday launched its super mobile banking application, “Canara ai1”, which is a unique solution with more than 250 features to meet all banking needs of customers. The latest app eliminates the need for multiple mobile apps operating in silos to benefit from different specific services, according to a statement.
After the launch of the app, Canara Bank Managing Director and CEO, LV Prabhakar, said the lender’s main vision was “electronic transactions for everyone, anywhere, anytime” and that the bank leverages the technology to allow customers to use banking services at their fingertips.
Canara ai1 has advanced features such as intuitive UI and user experience having multiple themes and customizable menus/dashboards which can be customized as per user’s choice. It also features a dark theme to improve visual ergonomics, reduce eye strain, adjust brightness to current lighting conditions, and make the screen easier to use in dark environments, while saving battery power. .
The app, which is available in 11 languages, provides a solution to all banking and lifestyle needs such as comparison and shopping, utility bill payments, flight/hotel/taxi booking, payments, loan repayment and investment services such as mutual funds, insurance and dematerializations. services, among other services, the statement said.
It also caters to various social security schemes such as PPF Account, Sukanya Samruddhi Accounts, Elderly Savings Account and Kisan Vikas Patra, PMJJBY, PMSBY and APY as well as candidate management, said the bank.
As pre-login features, account balance, analysis and UPI payment and purchases are available. Users who do not have an account with us can also use UPI and Canara Mall ai1-The Banking Super App. They can open their account digitally in real time with KYC video.
“As of today, more than 3.5 million customers are using our Canara ai1 – The Banking Super App and are already enjoying the enhanced features satisfactorily,” the bank said.
The super app allows the customer to use traditional and modern banking and financial services via digital mode and there are features for all age groups. Canara ai1 – The Banking Super App can do all the work with just a few clicks on your mobile phone, the bank added.
The statement also states that all of these features were built using best-in-class security architecture. The app has security features like device binding, malware detection, remote admin tool detection and dynamic keyboard to provide safe and secure banking. Channel management like block/unblock internet banking/UPI/debit and credit cards with setting transaction limits is also available.
