ATACH launches Capital Markets Council to prepare capital markets for factory listings and access to capital

WASHINGTON, April 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Today, the American Cannabis and Hemp Trade Association (ATACH) announced the formation of Capital Markets Council ATACHto help prepare United States capital markets for cannabis stock quotes. The Council was founded on the belief that an evolving policy shift will create equal opportunities for public listings of direct cannabis operations, fueling the global cannabis industry. $35 billion growth in 2022 alone. Through grassroots advocacy, education and outreach, the ATACH Capital Markets Council will work to raise awareness and facilitate dialogue to promote access to capital markets.

The Capital Markets Council will meet this week at the Benzinga Capital Cannabis Conference in Miami on April 20-21 and will bring together capital market players and industry leaders at an ATACH event in Fontainebleau.

ATACH also brings together key players including: prime brokers, custodians, market makers, banks, listed companies, industry players, alternative investment firms, hedge funds, equity funds -investment companies, venture capital companies, family offices and foreign stock exchanges.
